"MOSTLY HARMLESS", a 28' launch powered by 2x 85 horse power Yamahas constructed on the premises under the tutelage of world famous yachtsman and Caribbean character Paul Johnson, is available for all sorts of recreation. This rig was specifically designed to picnic cruise in the Grenadines as well as fish the outer banks. Typically, a day trip will take you to a variety of beaches and snorkel destinations including the Tobago Cays--where you will be wined and dined on Bayaleau Point’s incredible lunches and intoxicating libations.
Sailing...
For those who like to sail: the Grenadines is a paradise. Windward is the home of one of the last indigenous working sailing fishing fleets anywhere....and these veterans of their craft will guide you on an unforgettable day trip. New Moon.....the newest sloop in the bay......is now available for half day sails or day tours to the cays.
Going to the Beach...
Whether by boat or by foot or by bus...Carriacou is well-known for it's beautiful white sand beaches ringed by coral reefs and turquoise waters. ...to name a few: Lilette, Anse la Roche and Paradise Beach are ones you won't want to miss.
Kiteboarding...
This new sport is the rage.......and Bayaleau Point is a perfect spot for kiteboarders with moderate experience to launch and sail the reef protected waters of the bay in the trades.....

Available from the local dive centers…..presently, Carriacou Silver Diving and Arawak Divers offer quality service.

An increasingly popular pasttime at Bayaleau Point Cottages....some of our guests have prepared this list of bird species for your viewing pleasure.

A popular activity: discovering ruins, old wells, fabulous vistas and seldom seen watering holes. Guided tours are offered right near by.

When you tire of shipping......go shopping right here at Bayaleau Point........our gift shop features fabulous T-shirts plus original art by ggdesigns.......Georgie, artist in residence here.......produces a beautiful line of hand painted calabashes in addition to paintings on driftwood and tiles and more. Georgie's home made crafts which exhibit in boutiques and galleries throughout the Caribbean island chain are also available at Fidel Productions on Paradise Beach at the container shop.....
LIMIN'
This is the activity that beats all activities....it is simply Caribbean and usually can be accomplished by the neophyte after about a week on our distant shores. When you get fully engrossed in this activity you needn't ask if we be limin'....New Balance sneakers not required...just a hammock and a bottle of rum.
